PROCEDURES
Immediate family members and relatives of the resident. The resident has the right to deny or withdraw visitation consent at any time, subject to reasonable clinical and safety restrictions of the facility.
Core principles and best practices of infection control that reduce the risk of transmission will take place. The Administrator is responsible for ensuring the following measures are in place and that staff adhere to this policy.
Visitations are conducted inside designated visitation spaces, outdoor sitting areas, and for compassionate care situations that will not negatively affect the comfortability and privacy of other residents in the home. Each resident is approved at least 2 hours of visitation daily. A maximum of 2 guests per resident at their designated time frame. Visitation hours are available 8am to 7pm Monday to Sunday.
Any entity or individual that provides health, social, legal, or other services to the resident, subject to the resident’s right to deny or withdraw consent at any time. If a resident agent exists in reference to the resident, the resident’s agent and health care providers are notified immediately of the denial or withdraw of consent. The facility will also document all such occurrences in the resident’s personal file.
